Children’s Church

Sunday School Hour (9:30-10:30 a.m.) CCC's Community Garden

Nursery Seedlings: a safe, nurturing place for infants and toddlers ages 0-3 yrs. during the Sunday School Hour. Our caregiver is Kathy.

Preschool Sprouts (ages 3-preK 5's): a very hands-on, experiential hour of learning about God's love. We use Groups' Hands-On Bible Curriculum. Children play and pretend as they experience the Bible story for themselves. "Whiskers: our resident church mouse, reinforces each week's Bible point. Our teachers are Ruth and Kristin.

Elementary Tree House (Grades K-6): a "workshop rotation" program that emphasizes the many ways kids learn! Kids cook, act, craft, paint, sing, watch video clips, play games, and conduct experiments while learning Bible stories, Bible knowledge, and Bible truths. This year we are using Augsburg's Press' Firelight: Wonder Stories...the miracles of Jesus. Our lead teacher is Martha and workshop teachers are many members of our congregation.

Worship Hour (11:00-12:00): 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month

Nursery Care: (ages 0-3): a nurturing place for our babies!

Preschool Praise (ages 3-preK 5's): children attend Junior Jamboree sessions for a high-energy time of singing, shouting, and celebrating God in worship. Following the singing and prayers, children are reacquainted with the morning's Bible story through crafts and activities. Preschool Praise is led by Ruth. Kari assists on the 2nd Sunday and Claire on the 4th Sunday.

Preschoolers have options for the 1st and 3rd Sundays! They are always welcome in either the nursery or our worship service!

Junior Jamboree (Grades K-5): a time of celebrating God's love through high energy, uplifting songs. Our worship leaders include Shelley, Kristin, and Martha. Bible stories and Bible points are woven into the worship time!
